The baby really hates being in this carrier, at least at this age (1 month). Something about it appears to be very uncomfortable. The baby is not usually a crier but once put in this carrier there’s lots of screeching. I use the sling carriers instead.

this carrier has been a lifesaver to have the first six and a half months so far. she absolutely loves watching me as i shop and prefers it facing outward. when she was younger she’d almost always fall to sleep while i was shopping. it seems to be a little too thick for warm/hot weather and she tends to sweat in it, but this item was a gift for us and we didn’t plan on living in the desert. we’ve used this item in cooler weather and it’s a charm. the only complaint i have is that there are straps and buckles near the shoulders/arms of the baby and if worn with the flap down it leaves red marks on her skin, but nothing like a bruise or cutting into the skin. i’ve never had to use that buckle and strap and it seems a little useless. overall, i’m very satisfied with this product.

save your back and get the Bjorn active. Though it’s easy to use, this carrier just hangs off your shoulders.
