I had almost given up on buying a music CD for my 18-month-old. I had previously bought one (Tunes for Toddlers) that was basically a bunch of old British people singing. Since we’re not British, it got annoying and I felt my toddler might not recognize some of the words due to the slight pronunciation differences.
I lucked out when I picked this up at Wal-Mart for ten bucks. This is a fabulous CD for toddlers or children up to 10 years of age. It has a large variety of songs on it…I believe 75 songs total. They are all fun songs and most of them have children singing them. Songs like Apples and Bananas; Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes; Five Little Monkeys, and so much more!
The songs are not annoying aside from maybe 3 or 4 out of the whole lot…one in particular is Tah Rah Rah Boom Dee Aye–I believe that is how it is spelled. And the Woodchuck song. They are both extremely repetitive and only say one thing the entire song, but other than that the songs are fabulous and they get my little boy dancing every time.
I recommend this CD to any parent looking for musical entertainment for their child.
